MEET THE COACHES
Coach Hunter Nabors
Owner, Head Coach, High School Director
I played at Montevallo High School for all four years and started in the 8th Grade. I went on to play two years at Itawamba Community College and received 1st Team All-State honors, and was also selected by the team as Team Captain. My next stop was the University of Mississippi where I learned the difference between good and great. My last stop was the University of Alabama in Huntsville. After college I started coaching for Central Alabama Baseball Academy where Coach Joe showed me what it takes to be a great leader and how to manage a travel organization. I put my own twist to the one I started and here I am! Thank you for visiting our site.

Coach Zac White
My love for baseball started when I was a kid watching the big leaguers in awe, and doing all I could to model myself after some of the greats like Griffey, Ripken, Big Mac, and Chipper. I played baseball at Spain Park and Hoover growing up and got the opportunity to continue with the Bevill State Bears for two years. After graduation, I also got the opportunity to umpire JUCO, high school baseball for AHSAA, and even went to umpire in Cooperstown, New York. When I was ready to step away from umpiring, I helped start a travel organization called Arsenal where I helped build and coach the team, after coaching several seasons there I was approached by the Birmingham Giants to come and coach high school age there. I eventually found out about 5Star and got the opportunity to become a coach for 5 Star Mafia where I will begin coaching my second season there. “A good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life.”
